University of Sydney(USyd) vs University of Melbourne(UMelb)

I am a prospective undergrad student who has applied to Bachelor of Engineering(Flexible First Year) in USyd and Bachelor of Science at UMelb.I am currently learning on Chemical Engineering but I want to get a better idea of Engineering as a whole and be sure about what field I want to specialise in. I also heard UMelb allows a lot of flexibility with its breadth subjects. I got offers from both and currently I am a leaning a bit to USyd as I like the location and what it has to offer. But could you guys take all factors into consideration, academics included and give me your opinions.

tl;dr: Got offers from both. Doing engineering though not sure which field in engineering to specialise in. Currently torn as to which to go to. Prefers USyd a bit more tho.
