I have a communication degree that is essentially useless to me. i graduated about 2.5 years ago and was wondering if I would be able to go back to school for a masters in something completely irrelevant from my degree (information Systems)?

Is this unheard of? I am tired of my dead end job right now that is accounting based. Boring me to death.
