Elementary Position Application Questions

Hello!

I will be graduating with a B.S. in Elementary Education in two weeks, so I am in the process of applying for teaching jobs. While I am aware that what school districts look for in answers to application questions will vary from district to district, I was hoping you all would have some tips on how to answer application questions/things to include or not include. The questions are as follows:

1. What strategies will you use in your classroom to assure that ALL students comprehend texts and write with purpose?
2. What will you do in your classroom to make learning relevant to the life and times of present day students?
3. Provide an example of how you would foster learning relationships with students.
4. How do you ASSESS students' progress and determine what they have mastered and use this information to guide further instruction?
