Do I need to have any kind of coding background to study masters in an IT field?

Not sure if this is the right sub Reddit to ask this but here I'm. I have a bachelor degree in Business and I was thinking of getting my masters degree in a technological field such as enterprise system engineering, electrical engineering or IT Security. Do I need to know how to code & all that or do I get to learn them in the process. I'm sorry if this sound stupid, I just don't know.
