My fiancee and I have narrowed it down to two schools, one that's what I'd call "regular", and the other is a Montessori. I can't really pick up which is better, because the general answer I keep receiving is "It's really all up to personal choice". I like the idea of the Montessori taking his choices into account, but I know very little about it. Reading descriptions of what Montessori schools do makes it feel like it won't make him learn at a competitive /comparetive rate. The idea of regular old school is bittersweet, because I know it didn't do much for me but make me miserable. Could anybody with some experience give me a hand in leaning one way or the other?
