Hi there. English it's not my native lenguage so bear with me.
I'm a spanish and technologically impeded teacher in Mexico and I work in an very poor región. I'm talking 120 US dolars a month per house, poor. Even though, my students manage, (there are worse regions in the world, I know). I made a little investigation and I found out that; though many of the don't have acces to internet (only 18.1% of them have acces to it), 47.9% of them have a smartphone. That got me thinking. Even if they don't have textbooks, mobile data and a lot of different tools to learn; there may be a way to make things still work.
Is there a way to have like a local wifi network, without internet? I only need the wifi to pass on files, digital tools and lessons to their phones. I usually handle 30 to 33 per lesson, so around half of them need acces to the network.
I really hope you guys can help me out.
