I hate online tests

So it’s not that I hate online school or online teaching. I’m a good student and spend time studying so I’m learning about the same as I would in a real classroom. But I HATE being tested online. It doesn’t matter the format: short answer, essay, multiple choice. I just... can’t read as well on a computer screen and can’t navigate the test as well.

For instance, I had an A in organic chemistry before Spring break. I had an A going into the final. But then we took the ACS and not only was it online, but my teacher made it to where once you answered a question and moved on, you couldn’t go back to check or rework. Usually, I answer easier questions first and then go back to work on the harder ones to optimize my time (it was timed as well) but I couldn’t do that! I ended up making a C on the test, so now I’m gonna have a B in the class.

And I’m premed so it MATTERS!!! (Especially since gpa is already not a 4.0 - I have a 3.9)

If I had been able to take it in class like we were supposed to with the ability to go back and jump around on questions, I know I could’ve raised my score at least ten points. I could pass/fail the class but I don’t want to cuz that’ll look bad on my mrs school application. Ugggghhh I’m just so frustrated!!!
