So basically my freshman year was the first time I was completely out of a special education classroom setting. I had bad anger problems but besides that I really shouldn’t of been in LRCs for all of my schooling. I was always ahead of everyone and it wasn’t fun. I spoke to my case manager and recently had my IEP meeting. They made the decision that I was ready for higher advanced classes. I’ve been working my ass off for almost 4 years trying to convince them to put me in a regular classroom setting and it finally happened. I have so much joy right now. My history teacher said at the meeting I was one of the best students all year around and I seized the moment. Now with all that said should I be nervous about taking these classes and what should I expect from them?
