What is it called when you only use a rational logic when it benefits you?

For example, logic such as "Let's wait for all the facts before we come to a full conclusion" or "Let's wait to actually play the game or watch the movie to have a full opinion" are all pretty sound and fair logic right? But what if you ONLY use those arguments when it benefits your narrative or bias?

Let's say you're a Nintendo fan and you hear about some pretty offensive things about them but to defend them you will use the "Let's wait for all the facts before we come to a full conclusion" argument to defend them.

Now, let's say you HATE Biden and you hear that he's actually a Russian mole but this time instead of opening your mind for all the facts first, you instantly believe in this news without any doubts. Is there a more official term or label for these kind of people?
