Need help learning through bulks of info for self learning

First off, I am new here, but from what it seems, this kight be a good place for this question.

Anyways...

Lots of times I will be looking through bulks of information either for school or for myself. Problem is, lots of times a lot of this info is advanced and above my head.

For example, I may google a question I have, then I find it on Stack Exchange, and the person asks my question, but also asks it at a higher level, usually over my head, and then the person who responds asks with an even higher level and I feel so overwhelmed and lost trying to understand it all.

Sometimes I am good at filtering bulks of info out to get my answer, other time, they all seem to relate to each other and again it all feels overwhelming.

I would like to try to simplify some answers to, and I know maybe it may need more info to explain that reasoning, you know at least I know what to look for next, but depending on how complicated the info is, I may be misubderstanding the document.

Which is another problem, I can be misunderstanding something be making wrong assumption and take weeks or months until i learn I was misunderstanding something.

Edit: took out parts of the question i thought was redundent or an example i felt wasnt needed to explain my thought...

I did this to make it easier to read but if you need an example on something i will provide it of course!
