Convenient examples of interactive edtech I can use in the classroom?

Hey guys,

I'm going to be leading a 40 minute class on EdTech. One of the main points I'm trying to make is that EdTech isn't just a question of access: low SES students tend to use EdTech for rote work, while wealthy kids tend to use EdTech more creatively and for the production of knowledge.

My lesson plan includes splitting the class up into two sides: one that just does rote work like Quizlet, and the other that does something immersive and interactive. After the activity, I want the groups to talk to each other and discuss their experiences.

For the interactive/immersive half of the class, does anyone recommend any easy to download/use pieces of EdTech? I will be teaching upperclassmen at the university level, all with access to a laptop and most with access to iphones in class.
