Instead of AP, why not annex some classes from the local junior college?

I lived in a rural part of Washington. 60 in my graduating class. A few kids who wanted AP were just sent to the local JC for a couple of courses.

My district chooses not to give dual credit.

For the life of me, I don't know why.
