Struggling to stick with things.

I took last year off after deciding I really hated my degree I was studying electrical engineering. Thought about it quite thoroughly and decided I wanted to study computer science because I enjoyed programming in engineering. I'm three weeks in and not really enjoying it, I struggle to find motivation to turn up. At first I found the lectures interesting but as soon as it got to the tutorials (where you basically complete weekly tasks and get assessed) I started hating it. I honestly just felt way less computer literate than all the 18 year Olds in my tutorial, maybe they have played with those systems when they were in still in school.

I feel that maybe the route of my problem is that I'm giving up because it's starting to get hard (as ashamed as I am to admit that).

I gave up on engineering because I didn't like any subjects and loathed the idea of being an electrical engineer and I still think I made the right decision leaving.
