New to Middle School

Hello! I began my career as a toddler teacher, then special Ed high school, and now I'm going to be a 6-8 science teacher!!

I was wondering if I could some great ideas for classroom management? I feel like 6-8 is such a tough age bc the kids are at the "a kid but not a kid" phase...like they want to play with Barbie but they also have puberty?

(Idk if that makes sense)

So anyways! Any great plans or ideas that you have would be appreciated! I'm a very creative teacher and also adventurous so I'm willing to try anything!
