Is the CA BPPE a scam?
One of the best reasons to enroll in CA schools is that the BPPE ensures all compliance needs are met( for a school to operate in the state) and was a main draw for me to enroll as well.
I was enrolled at 2 universities in CA ( graduate degrees) in the last few years, both of which shut down before i could complete my Masters courses.
But i always thought that the BPPE would ensure that students wouldn’t get scammed and tuition fees paid would be refunded back( if fraud/legitimate reasons we found)
But after submitting all the paperwork needed( to request a refund or even open a case against the schools) there has been no response from any officials after 8 months of document submissions( was told 6-7 months of turn around time)
Reached out many times by phone and email but no responses either
Is the whole BPPE division a scam? Has anyone actually received tuition refund from the BPPE?
I am Down the hole, close to $30k ( total) and is highly stressful
Does anyone on this forum have any success stories to share? Or personal to reach ( if you know of any)

School for students from 10 to 18 y o: better to divide the school in two sections?
I am an architect, I m working on a project for a school for students from 10 to 18 years old in Europe. I am doing some research and I would like to have also your opinion. Concerning possible social issues, bullying , and educational topics, do you think that it would be better to divide the school in two different sections, one for students from 10 to 14, the other one for students from 15 to 18? Or are there reasons to say that it would be better to have a mix?
I am concerned about some “communal areas” like the wardrobe for example, where the teachers are not present and a mix of students with a big difference in age could maybe be problematic.
What is your opinion? Anyone has experience about this topic?

I need help in choosing university degree and tips how to self-teach myself for final exams
Okay so I'm in high school second class and it's such a struggle choosing degree and what subjects I should pass on advanced level next year but for now I'm certain that I'm going to pass math and english and lately I've got fascinated about full-dive vr and all the degrees like biomechatronics/bioengenering/bioinformatics (although I don't know too much about it) and because of that I'm thinking about trying to pass informatics I know some basics about coding so I believe that I could prepare myself alone for it but I don't think so that will be enough to get on one of these university degrees so I'd like to also pass biology but I know that's a tough one and it would require a lot of effort and studying from me I'm not even sure how to start preparing myself for it and everyday final exams are getting closer and closer. I'm soo scared when thinking about my future but anyway I'm doing it almost everyday. The fear of fucking up my life is too overwhelming.
Anyway that would be lovely if any helpful soul could tell me if math informatics biology(I'm not counting english for obvious reasons) without chemistry and physics is enough for me to get accepted to one of these university degrees and how I should start teaching myself biology which is my biggest fear.
After all I'm staying open-minded to check any other interesting degree you recommend for studying that would be enjoying with the possibility of doing something interesting in future not some crap that would get me only to the supermarket as a cashier. And if you do recommend something please also describe what subjects does it take to pass on advanced level and what that would require from me to do.
Really if you have anything nice to recommend go ahead I have like 1,5 year to prepare before final exams and maybe I could even take another try year later if I go on a gap year which make it 2,5 years. And the gap year I'm going to fully use for studying and working if I do it I'm definitely going to another country so there I won't have any friends distracting me and I'd be able to earn like 4 times higher salary for the same job I'd do in Poland lol.
I'm from Poland and English obviously isn't my native language so I apologize for every mistake and ask for indulgence.
Thank you all for stopping by Have a nice day!

I'm going to school.. but I don't learn.
Hello everyone. So I’ve been in school since an early age. The same age everyone gets to go to school.. 6. Now, I’m at university. I still have one year to go before I get my bachelor ‘’title’’. I had a lot of expectations before I arrived at university. Before, every class I was into that I didn’t liked, I was telling myself how better it would be later because I would study in the domain that I like.
It’s been 3 years since I started university… and I can tell you all my expectations were dreams. [Im studying business]. No I don’t have the chance to study in a 50k+ USD/session university. I am pissed. Pissed that during my entire life, people told me how university was great, and how having a god damn degree can get you a ‘real’ job. [I only talk for the business program, I don’t know for the others]. When you are at university, you realize how it’s the exact same bullsh*t than school was.
My passion is really about entrepreneurship, startups and technology. I can tell you. No matter what your passion is: internet will teach you 123123123123 times better than school. Why: because there are professionals teaching online for fun… for free.. Because learning online doesn't mean to learn alone. Because you get to learn by yourself. In other words, when you have a problem, you find an answer on internet and so on. Instead of rereading the book.
They don’t teach you how to do or how to learn how to do, they teach you how to remember how to do… What happens when you don’t remember or don’t know how to do?!?
I’m passionate by what I’m doing. I love business, I love informatic. I had the chance to run a successful painting business with 8 employees last summer [it was for practical purposes, experience]. I feel like the education system is messed. I feel like some study programs are irrational for the situation on the job market and I feel like some employers are giving too much importance to having a god damn ‘’degree’’’. It’s all about being able to remember things to write them down on a piece of paper written EXAM on top of it. To every employer out here: Remember experience is the most important thing. Judge by experiences, not by being good at remembering irrational stuff.
The only variable that will never ever change in our world is Change. Based on that, find the problems and try new solutions.
**sorry for mistakes.

OSHA 300 forms injury log reports.
I work in Minnesota we have a state OSHA plan. We do not have the partial exemptions that the federal plan has. School workers are under NAICS 6111.
I'm concerned that our district might not be logging the OSHA 300 forms.
What can be done if OSHA logs are not filled? There needs to be a proper tracking of bites and blood sharing from repeat biters but we might not be ready.

A very big thank you to educators.
I don’t know where else to post this. I’ve heard some incredible student speakers today at the march in Washington D.C. These children(!) likely did not teach themselves to speak like this. I know where they learned this skill that moved me to tears multiple times today. You did this and I am very thankful that you made such a sacrifice to help us all.
I understand that not everyone agrees with the politics of this situation, but it just can’t be denied that these kids have been transformed into very effective orators. Good job and thank you.
