How do I prove to my teacher that I'm worthy of recommendation letters?

I'm 14 and in 8th grade. I want to join this program that allows incoming freshmen to attend college classes (FAU High), and in order to increase my chances of getting in, I want to get recommendation letters.

Today, after the final period ended, I talked with my teacher about getting recommendation letters for FAU High, and he said that I had to show him that I really wanted it. Now, I don't know how to go about this. My grades are doing really good (In his class I have a 99%, in which I have a 100% or higher on 15/19 assignments and of the 4/19, the lowest is an 80%, but that's only because I turned it in late), but I think what he really wants is for me to go above and beyond, however I'm not sure how to go about this. Right now in class, we are reading The Modern Prometheus (Frankenstein) and we have a couple of county diagnostics coming up (Not sure why y'all would need with this information but I just threw it out there). I have until January 10th to get all the recommendation letters, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
