Should I go to college before uni, or are they the same thing?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not, but I need some advice, I am a Junior in high school, and i do not know wether to go to college before university first, are they the same thing? should i start applying now? what gpa weighted and unweighted are good for an average or above average college? appreciate the help.
