Education In a Non traditional Sense

I go to a liberal art university in Indiana and I’m an education studies major which is not the same as the traditional education degree. I won’t have a teaching license when I graduate and although I’ve never wanted to teach in a traditional classroom, if I did I would only be able to teach through partnered foundations like Teach for America or Fullbright. I’m interested in mentoring and college advancement. My whole thing was, I want to work with people, educate in a non traditional sense and change lives.. but wasn’t interested in the science side of Psychology and loved the genuine, ‘I can seem myself in this curriculum’ that my education studies courses offered me.

My question is, are there any education studies majors out there with a degree? What’d you end up going into after completing your studies?
