I am an undergrad doing a lit review in education and I was interested in how researchers in education measure complex transferable problem solving skills (so being able to tackle unfamiliar problems) , as opposed to like procedural knowledge (e.g. being able to get 100 on a differentiation test because you've memorised and repeated endlessly all the steps in differentiation)
