Does a directive to record a webex class imply consent?

I am using webex to teach and my supervisor wants me to record my screen. A few issues have happened with screen recordings and teachers and I do not want to record.

I received my observation with the written directive to record.

I do not give my consent. Do schools have the right to record me? Or the right to force me to record myself?

What can I write for my rebuttal?
