Would learning subjects through AP course textbooks be beneficial to a college student and/or graduate?

I'm a recent college graduate who wants to learn subjects that either I didn't get to while attending college or ones that I feel I didn't learn enough of (usually due to the professors not teaching well or enough. For some I felt they taught TOO BASIC for a college course). Back in high school I tried taking a few AP classes, and although I didn't pass some of their exams, I felt that the textbooks were pretty detailed and with a lot of info to take in, maybe even more than what I learned in some of my college classes (sadly). Although maybe that's just me thinking that from being at a high school level at the time. So would it be useful to learn subjects through AP textbooks? I also liked how they had practice tests and concept breakdowns that I could practice on my own. Would it be better off using other textbooks instead? How much would I be learning using an AP coursebook like Barron's or something else compared to assigned textbooks?

Edit: If there are any resources you recommend, that would be great as well!
