I have a friend that suffered lots of domestic and sexual abuse since she was in 6th grade. Eventually, sometime in 6th grade, her parents took her out of school to “homeschool” her but she never learned anything. It was just easier for her family to take advantage of her more privately. Now, she’s 22, no high school diploma, no career, nothing.
I want her to become more independent and educated. I’m just wondering are there any programs that she could join in order to obtain her high school diploma at the age of 22? Something that wouldn’t cost much considering the circumstances. She lives in Ohio.
