Is college Statistics for the social sciences hard?

For someone who has done pretty well in college Algebra, do you think a college honors stats class will be difficult to pass with an A? I used to think I was horrible at math back in high school but when I started college this year and took college Algebra, I didn't have much trouble with it. All I had to do was study to get a good grade on the exams. So for someone who is relatively good at algebra, do you think it would be a bad idea to take this stats class? Thanks :)
