Wouldn't it be better if we learned things like medicine, mechanics, electrics, civil-construction, i.e. USEFUL things in school rather than all the other stuff?

Things like;

  • Fixing a car and understanding it, along with physics concepts, etc..
  • Electrics in a practical manner, the concepts and theory comes along.
  • Civil-construction, how to actually build a house.
  • Medicine/Pharmaceuticals...
  • Music playing, singing, acting, arts in general...
  • Planting, yeah, like how you get your own farm going, etc...
  • Technology, computers, automating things, making life better with tech, etc...

And other useful things like psychology and human behavior, sociology, leadership and power structures, mastering skills, critical-thinking.

I mean, there is so much energy and time spent learning things like history, geography, biology down to the DNA level, chemistry that we don't even know if applies anymore, and we can't really use this at all in our lives or in our society.

I know that there are specific educational courses to all of this stuff i've mentioned. But i just think primary/high-school are a waste of time that could be better spent teaching people actual life skills instead of all the stuff we're used to.
