You are invited to participate in a research study on labeling in the academic system conducted by Kelsey Bayless, a student at Azusa Pacific University. Your participation is voluntary, at your own free will, and anonymous.
The research asks interested teachers to complete a 5-minute survey regarding their opinions related to negative labeling and how it affects students at elementary, middle, and high school levels in their academic performances. A negative label can be phrases such as “Katie is always bad at math!”, “Spencer can’t do anything right”, or “Sammy always works so slow!”. Your opinion and feedback will help improve understanding of labels and academic progress in the school system.
If you are interested, click the link below to access an informed consent and the 5-minute survey.
Thanks for considering participation.
