Is it worth it to double major?

I am currently a Finance major and as it turns out, if I take all Risk Management electives I can get a double major in Finance and Risk Management for really no extra work. My father is telling me that it’s not worth it and I should just take electives that interest me instead. Is he right? Are there no real benefits from double majoring?
