I’ll try to keep this short and sweet—just need a point in the right direction!
After I graduated high school, I ended up going to two different universities because being young and naive (and not having any adults in my life who were well off financially nor versed in higher education) I ended up not doing everything I should in terms of meeting with the right advisors/ aides to talk about my situation and the best ways to keep me enrolled. I had to leave both schools and I was obviously heartbroken.
I’m 21 now and I’ve been busting my butt at various full time positions to save money to get myself back to school. I’m moving in 6 months and would like to start then but much like before have no idea what to do.
It makes sense to maybe take online/local classes at least to get my gen eds out of the way but I wouldn’t even know which classes to take or where to take them. I cannot afford (emotionally or financially) to take anymore steps in the wrong direction.
If anyone could shed some light for me in terms of resources or places to start, it would make my whole year. Thanks in advance!
