How can some who has been in the eoc program(special needs classes) convert to normal classes?

I have been in the EOC program all my life, I'm currently in my 11th grade. I do want to go to art school, and most colleges required a SAT score. I'm am terrified by this because none of my classes have not prepared me for it. Should I do my own studies? Or should I talk to a counselor?
