If there weren’t Teachers, would there be education? How would people learn to live or do their jobs?

In my opinion, people forget who taught them how to read and write. If they didn’t have parents who were involved in their childhood development, it was most likely a Teacher who taught them how to survive in the world. Why are the people who teach us how to live, the lowest paid? Aren’t they technically qualified to be the highest paid?
