Looking to drastically change majors

Hello,

I am currently enrolled in Business Technology Management at ryerson, working towards a bachelors of commerce with a minor in data analytics.

I am halfway through my 5th semester, and I am absolutely dreading it. I got through all of the other semesters with the “just one more day” mentality, but my endurance is starting to run dry.

I am looking to change majors to computer engineering, but I am unsure whether to choose a university or a college. A co-op program would be highly preferable, as it will give me real world experience outside of controlled simulations in a classroom.

Has anyone else gone through such a change, and could offer advice?
