I know people say you are never too old to go back to school, but I feel like even if I do get a degree, because of how old I am, 29 years old. I'll be competing against younger graduates who I imagine are more likely to get the job. Since I want to study something with a lot of mathematics, not a 100% sure, but physics sounds like a good choice, and I'm female, that'll make it even harder. Women are discriminated a lot in those fields, and I don't want to study something else just because I'm more likely to get a job in that field.
I enjoy solving math problems. I'm a weirdo, but it's what I like doing. I'm getting sick of cleaning all day, it's driving me insane. It's so boring, it doesn't pay enough.
I know to some of you, 29 doesn't sound old, but I'm feeling it. I'm feeling my youth slipping away.
Please give me some advice.
