Hi, all. I teach mostly black students at my school in a large urban center and we are currently still in session. Recent events have inspired me to work with my students towards making their voice heard and positive outlets for working towards improvements in their lives, especially around violence by cops against their community. Does anyone have any ideas for projects for channeling their emotions and effecting change? Letter writing, making signs, social media posts, and putting together a video of their thoughts and feelings that can be uploaded and are things I'm considering.
