So I currently live in Egypt and was wondering if there are any extracurricular things I can do online that offer free certificates and can be added to college applications? I'm trying to work on as many things as possible right now but my options are kind of limited as I spend a lot of time at home. I really want to prove myself academically though because this is something I genuinely enjoy doing, and I like to work but my school doesn't offer AP classes or anything like that.
Most of our work is pretty basic, and while I do regularly work on extra projects I feel like it doesn't matter much to my teachers or school.
I love to write and draw and hope to pursue animation in college. Even if these extracurricular activities aren't recognized by colleges that's fine I'd still like to look into doing them if they're beneficial in any way.
I don't mind writing research papers, essays on specific prompts, stories, poems, analyzing literature or helping others etc.
I'm mostly just looking for anything to do academically that I didn't get the opportunity to do in school.
