Update: Fellow teachers, I posted last night about walking out on monday. I have a new idea: Wear black all next week. What do people think?

So I spoke to colleagues at my school. They were really supportive of me, but I don't think they are as gung ho to walk out, and I understand their individual reasons. Doesn't make so much sense if I'm the only one - well not yet at least.

I then proposed that we all wear black next week. They liked the idea. I think we are going to discuss it more tomorrow.

What do people think?
