My school allows college sweaters: Should military sweaters be allowed?

I'm an admin. at a charter school. We have a strict dress code, but we allow college sweaters to promote our college going culture. Recently a few students have started wearing "NAVY" and "ARMY" sweaters and I'm unsure whether to allow it.

My school is predominantly low income/Latino, and this demographic is disproportionately recruited by the military. I worry that allowing these sweaters will run counter to what we're ultimately trying to promote.

Thoughts?
