I just graduated with a masters degree in English and German literature and I am 22 years old now.
I know I do not want to go into academia and I do not want to teach, I do not really know what I want to do with my life, but I have a student job as a recruiter and I have been working at this place for 2,5 years now. Sometimes I like this job and sometimes I just feel like I can do this for a couple of years but I want to climb higher up eventually and with my degree I do not know if this is really possible or not? (Because I do not have a business- or HR-orientated degree?)
I also discovered that I can do a second masters degree in economics in 2 years (a bridging programme of one year and a masters of one year) and I was thinking about enrolling in this programme? Would this be worth it or not? Or would I be able to find a decent job with my degree (and "working experience") and is a second degree not really necessary? I am from Belgium (Europe) in case this make a difference.
Money is not an issue because my parents support me, they have paid for my first masters and encourage me to continue university now and they will also pay for my second masters.
Thanks for your advice!
TLDR; is it worth to pursue a second masters degree in economics after obtaining one in literature?
