Questions about majoring in communication

Hi everyone! I was hoping I could get some advise. (Apologies in advance for any typos) I am currently perusing a degree in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication. I find communications interesting but I’m not sure I going to find a job afterward that will provide a decent salary. (Side note- I am a hard worker and don’t mind working my way up) I am pretty outgoing and am a people person however, I dont want to end up working for a news station or anything that has to do with journalism. What are my options? Anyone have a communications degree working in a completely different field? I would love some insight. Sincerely, A really lost college student- TIA
