Never been to school, looking for advice on how to start learning the things I need to

Not sure if this is the right place for a post like this but here goes: I'm 19 years old. I was taken out of school when I was 7 by my parents to be "homeschooled". However I didn't exactly have the best family life, the homeschooling consisted of me just kinda being home 24/7 while they sent in fake report cards to make it look like I was doing something. ANYWAYS, I'm at a point where I have a decent job and want to actually get my GED and even go to college.. Honestly I have no idea where to start with this, and that's what i'm looking to get help with. I know I'm not stupid, I've just never had any experience with anything school/education related. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
