Should I do this after school theatre thing?

Where I live there is this after school musical theatre program for high school students. It's every week throughout the school year from Mon to Thurs and is after school for about three hours.

I want to do it because you make REALLY good connections, it gives me something to do with my life, I get more theatre experience in their shows, and my girlfriend is doing it.

However, I don't want to do it because I'll be doing 4 APs this year, the kids in the program probably aren't people I'd like to know/see again, the shows aren't know for being that great, I'll be in Mock Trial this year, all my free time will be taken up when I have to do a lot of community service hours, I'll be acting in one and stage managing the second of the two plays at MY school throughout the year (however the director will let me miss some rehearsals for this program, especially for the show I'm SMing), and I'm debating over whether I want to pursue musical theatre as a career or not. Plus, I'm not feeling all that comfortable with doing it, either.

So idk if I should do it or not..... Can someone help me?
