Real question for the current times.

With the whole deal of the Muller Report it got me thinking about previous investigations: Watergate, JFK Assassination, the Clinton scandal, etc. Why are some of these reports not required readings in US Government class? Honestly in High school ~12 years ago my US gov't class felt like a recap of what I learned in elementary school. All it thought me was "this is how things are supposed to work." Is this a product of No Child Left Behind? Also why is the OG Ponzi scheme not tought in econ class?
