Infancy (0 - 6 yrs) First Stage of Development (Educational Psychology)

Several phases and aspects of development are physical, mental,

emotional, and social.

The purpose of the present chapter is to

recapitulate and review the entire developmental process with a

view to see if it can be differentiated into distinct stages, to

study the psychological characteristics of each stage and to indicate broadly what changes should be made in the educational programmes and procedures suited to the needs of each stage.
