Sociology vs Philosophy Degree

Which one would be more beneficial to fall back on? Which one is easier? Which degree has a better employment rate?

I am self employed and I just need a degree to fall back on and to have a piece of paper to flaunt around. I know that sounds silly but in today’s society a college degree defines who we are and our ability to function in society. :(

I am not choosing these two degrees because I feel they are easy, I am genuinely interested in them.

Update: by the way I’m a self employed merchant if that makes a difference
