Teach Like A Pirate

So far, my impression reminds me of "Learning Styles" when I was in teacher school.

It basically boils down(in my first glance) to be a good teacher. Be passionate about the kids, the subject, and deliver it to kids in a way they will care about.

I feel like it stinks of rah rah teacher bullshit to sell a "new" solution to what we already know.

Love the subject, love the kids, love the sale! - Yes. I agree. I am tired of new paradigms/lexicon every so often that I'm supposed to give a fuck about...

This may be more of a rant than anything...

Am I alone here?
