What if school taught us to think like Leonardo Da Vinci?

Leonardo Da Vinci was an inventor, who came up with many ideas, such as a helicopter, a tank, a swimsuit, and he also studied the human body by using dead corpses. He was the first scientist, who used the Scientific Model of hypothesizing, experimenting, evaluating, correcting, repeating, to find the truth about something, rather than to try and prove something. To try and prove something is to bias the information, while to find the truth is to tell the truth unbiasedly.

What if school was a breeding ground for inventors? Sadly, it is not. It is an environment of classes full of no creativity, or critical thinking. Creativity is drained out of students and teachers every day that they exist to go to school.

The only coping mechanism for your creativity, is to express it in a notebook. I do this by designing ideas in my notebook. My grades in some classes sink, especially those classes in which I think are useless, but I have some inventions. I cannot tell you the inventions until I get a patent but you are bound to get at least one if you work hard enough to get one as a solution to a problem.

What if school taught creative, innovative thinking, encouraging people to create and invent? School would be LOVED, and MISSED because in School, you motivate yourself, and compete with others in school and across the internet to compete for the best designs. What if school encouraged this? What if school was Sillicon Valley?

I had one class in school where in Social Studies class, we had a entrepreneurial activity in the Cafeteria. Students made all sorts of products, and I made rock candy. The next week, I made $45 in profit from $100 in sugar invested. I miss that class.
