On Friday, I finished my first full week of teaching an ELA elective class where I use video games as the main texts to help prepare my students for the New York Regents Exam in English Language Arts. All students need to pass this exam in order to graduate.

Very few teachers out there are using video games so I hope any of the work I'm doing here will encourage other educators to give it a shot. Let me know what you think.
