Shameful of my University and want to move

So I’m a few weeks into my first year at Brock university in southern Ontario and I dislike it. I hope it will grow on me but I’m not confident. My friend went to Dalhousie University in Halifax NS and I’ve been reading about it for hours every night. I just don’t like Brock for it’s fake feeling, it’s look and it’s layout. Dalhousie is in my Mom’s home province and looks like a real university and is leagues above Brock program wise. I feel shameful when I tell friends and Family I go to Brock but it’s relatively close to my home, on the other side I feel Dalhousie will fill me with pride but I’d be further from home. Has anyone experienced something similar? If so what should I do?
