I feel that this situation with the Wuhan Virus should be treated as an opportunity for higher education as a whole to move towards being more available and inclusive of those who can't be traditional or residential students. My thinking is many institutions that previously stuck to their guns, so to speak, with traditional education are now being forced to move towards online/distance education.
So there is something positive coming out of this is what I'm trying to say. The process for more prestigious universities to offer online degrees has been accelerated in my eyes. This is a great thing for future generations in my eyes.
