I will start giving english classes to a 6 year old. Tips and advice needed.

I don’t know if this is the best sub to post, but I am a 22 F student who was recently asked to give a six year-old kid english lessons. I have never given home tutoring, at least not for a child. I’d like to read some advice to make it easier and actually help him learn.

His mom is giving me the material he has been studying in school (due to the pandemic he is unable to go) and really I think she just wants me to keep him busy while he practices english (second language).
