Which Masters or other education program will allow me to do this? Am I thinking right ?

I've been having a really hard time solving this issue on my own, so I will really appreciate anyone that can comment and help out. I know this is a little long, but I hope you'll bear with me.

I've very interested in contributing into the making of an education system which influences and develops students who :

  1. Have a healthy sense of self worth.
  2. Have compassion and empathy as part of their value system and consistently evaluate their actions on whether it's in accordance with their value system
  3. Can critically think rather than expect an answer to be handed to them (a mindset that to my understanding comes from a way of teaching that's focused on indoctrination)
  4. Are emotionally intelligent, and by that I mean that they have an extensive vocabulary to identify and describe their emotions, and can communicate it to others, and can effectively resolve the negative emotions
  5. Are "physically" intelligent - and by that I mean that they have knowledge about their own body and how it works. They understand things like why flexibility goes away, the basic physics of how their joints move, basics of common health problems. (Again, something they logically understand - so, they know that a
  6. Understand how society functions - why there is a government, how rules and laws change, why we vote, etc.
  7. Related to above : Understand cognitive biases

If I could contribute to the education/influence of adults, I'd love to. I want to contribute to education as a whole, not just K-12/college/uni. I want to contribute to how a governing , rule implementing, rule enforcing body goes about educating people.

I realize that some of this which has to do with character, perhaps, traditionally falls under "education from parents". But I don't think schools or any educational institution can't enforce and/or contribute to those developments of a person, perhaps even, they're a better source. I guess perhaps this comes down to "What's the purpose of the educational system? - to teach the subject areas? Or also to teach people how to relate with one another? To babysit while the parents work 9 - 5 ? "

So - I'd like to get into this line of work. What do I need to do ? Am I thinking through this properly ? A lot of my reasons for wanting to do this have to do with my experience as a student for my k-12 and Bsc, but also as a teacher working in the fitness industry (fitness instructor, 1on1 and groups) and as a student of instructors of hobbies like dance, piano etc. And finally, through observing the failures and successes of educators.

Thanks in advance to anyone who reads and comments!! I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts and engaging with you :)
