Digital All Year — Ideas?

My district is having students choose if they want to attend school in person or Zoom in. However, I’m banking on 100% remote learning fairly soon.

I teach 8th grade social studies. Our district is 1:1.

Obviously we have previously done a blend of pencil and paper and digital work. This year I plan on going fully digital.

What are some recommendations you have? Things I should consider? I’m proficient with Google Classroom and Go Formative.

But I also want to find as many different, efficient ways to keep my students engaged.
